As Seattle Serenity devotees will likely already know, the
Third Annual Charity Screening of Serenity is showing at the Crest theatre on June 22nd. For all you crazy-cool katz who know and cherish the
Wayward Coffeehouse in Seattle, or if you're generally mad-passionate for the Serenity universe, you should definitely be in attendance at the Wayward on Saturday the 14th (of June)!
The Redoubtable and Inciting Proprietress of the Wayward is having a Pre-Screening Shindig at 7pm on Saturday, the 14th! Main attractions will be the splendid
Vixy & Tony as well as the talented henna-artist, Antoinette, without whom a proper Wayward Shindig wouldn't be possible. What's more, Antoinette will be offering to do henna tattoos of the Serenity Firefly (Huzzah!) for $7 a pop, with all proceeds going to the same charity as the screening (
Equality Now).
"But that's my Bowling night!"
-Liar! Bowling no longer exists in Seattle... the closest you can get is using the recycled lanes of LeiLani or Sunset to line your patio and use an emptied fish bowl to knock down your old GI Joe figures!
"But I've got a hot date... and they said they're not wearing underwear!"
-Fool! If your date isn't massively turned on by filking, long coats, and a generally rebellious (yet charity-minded) outlook on life then you're fishing in the wrong gene pool!
Looks to be a mighty fine Shindig!
