There comes a time in every creature's life when things are at an end.
When purring in the sunspot is but a faded memory
And chasing sister through the house a glimmer.
There comes a time when one lays down and doesn't
Rise for a day or more.
When all you want is a little food, a little water
And a great deal of love.
There comes a time when you no longer wash
Or care, because you are tired and old.
You, my sweet Echo, have blessed us all with your presense, with your heart and your sweetness.
You, my sweet Echo, have been my friend for nearly ten years.
You have been with me through thick and thin, and your heart has always sought happiness.
You have blessed the lives of many others by curling up in a lap,
By making a sad heart feel warm, and head-bonking people to get their attention.
You will never, ever be forgotten; you will always be missed and my heart will bounce when I think of you.
May your heart always soar above everything, may your memories bring happiness to all.
I love you my sweet Echo.
