I wrote some poetry and this is my favourite of the bunch, but it reflects how I truly feel when my sister talks about CMS girls. Enjoy!
Ode to Middle School Girls
Black is a shade
Not a colour.
Your soul is not coloured black,
And your heart is actually red
Maybe a little blue
Burgundy, we’ll say.
Boyfriends are overrated,
You’ll find somebody to love.
Six billion people on this earth,
And you think you’ll be alone?
How are you so special?
You will grow out of that A-cup,
And the sun will turn your skin brown
And you’ll discover soon,
That skin cancer is a real danger.
Don’t be in such a hurry to grow up,
You’ll have time to smoke and get drunk
In your twenties,
If you live that long.
So just relax and breathe in,
Because if you don't shut up,
You won’t.
