Shasta Kitty is Home
After 2 days at the vet and 6 days at our very sweet friend's house (she is a vet tech and could take vitals etc...) Shasta is finally home. She is still living in the big carrier to allow time for her stitches to heal. She is purring and meowing and when we open the kennel she definitely wants to come out and walk around. She is not eating a lot though and she is not cleaning herself as well as she usually does. She seems to eat best when I hand feed her fancy feast cat food. Otherwise she is not so interested.
I am taking her to the vet tomorrow for a follow up. The bottomline is that I am glad that she is eating without being forced and that she is purring. It will just take time for her to heal completely.
