"Good God Now You Gotta Believe Me ... ... "
Yes yes .. I keep mentioning/complaining/bitching/moaning about it .. but with the amount of down-time @ the office lately .. I really intend to 'adjust' the layout and readability of this mess soon. I did my Myspace already, but then again that was a 5-minute job (read: Code-rip) ..
Aside from that .. not much to tell. Survived the last of the evil triad of holidays without too much bodily injury (excepting my liver) .. spent Thursday night @ the Londoner with my "Girlfriend" and had a great time. Still have to get the pictures (nothing like that you pervs).
Friday night I was going to stay at home, until I got griped out and ended up back at .. well .. the Londoner again. Hung out and had a pretty good time playing pool with my buddies up there (as per usual).
Saturday night I got dragged out by a very good friend to see her boyfriend's cover band play in Lake Dallas. Scary thing is .. they were pretty damn good! Sit-up-and-take-notice-holy-shit good. Much fun was had (however, I love him to death .. but don't be singing any more Alice in Chains .. please. Jerry's rolling over right now).
Still out fighting on the weekends .. keeping me busy and active. Black man moved out of the apartment, so it's just me and the roommate now. Managed to clean the place up and it's looking pretty impressive. I've got to jack my sister's leftover furniture from storage and we might even have an honest-to-god living room/dining area. Two bachelors (both computer techs) being domesticated .. scary thought.
Headed back to LA and maybe Vegas at the first of next month to hang out with family and friends for late-Christmas/Damn He's Gettin' Old celebration. Family and friends from North Cali are even driving down to spend time with me [give me shit] which is an outstanding surprise I'm looking forward to. Plus, I get to see the new living quarters my folks built in the backyard (at about $120/sq ft) to attempt to coerce me into moving back West (not working). It'll be fun to run the network/audio/video for them though .. haven't done one of those projects in a good long while.
Things in that other ongoing mess have taken a fun turn. Let's just say that I made a new friend who had some lovely anecdotes to relay (and will be a tremendous boon), and the law of attraction finally kicked into gear and started making returns on my investment (No .. I'm not going to explain it to you in a public forum .. I have a phone).
So .. that's about it for this month's fun and games. Life is, as always, continuing to improve at an exponential rate.
