Systems architecture at work installed filters so 98% of my extra cirricular internet activities (including checking gmail) have been blocked. fcukers. Of course this happened the week that I move into a new position in which I will have mounds of free time. Swell

LAME! i think i'll die if that ever happens here. aren't you moving into an IT spot though? so you can't poke around with it and change it? i don't know how that shit works. my internet was blocked at my internship last summer-- i could only visit the company website and fox news.com after clicking lots of warning popups. weeeeird.

No, I'm not in IT yet because I'm waiting for that position to open up. I'm still a Legal Assistant in our legal department. But with a company that employs over 500 people, I think it safe to say that poking around with it wouldn't quite work. ;)

I think so, I haven't tried because yesterday when I checked my gmail I got a message saying that attempt was logged and I wasn't taking any chances. =\
