Maybe tou can let them know in a nice way you won't cash the cheque. Otherwise they will feel like they own you and won't use this money.

But this is such a rewarding experience! This is a true achievement.

я просто позвонила и сказала, что мне очень приятно, но я конечно никогда этот чек не окешу . факт его наличия намного дороже лбых денег
