It snowed today, for the first time since Valentine's Day six years ago. This icon is completely unrelated to today's content, but I baked my first challah and photographed it when I was "snowed in" back then (for values where snowed in = too sensible to be out on the road with the crazies

It does!

I'm really impressed by the yarn, actually. The pattern starts with just 5 stitches at the top center, and grows outwards in two triangles from there. With a constantly changing stitch count I would have expected colors to pool or stripe or otherwise look different on the shorter rows than it does at the bottom rows, but it's really consistent.

There's a new sushi place in the closest retail area to my house. We should go sometime! At the rate of 1 roll + 1 order tamago nigiri each time I go, it'll take me approximately forever to try everything that sounds good. No fried red snapper, though. =(
