Not much knitting last night because I went out for yummy barbecue with a friend.
The light box photographs really poorly, so I suspect pictures won't be worth taking until I have a considerable amount of the pattern covered with glass. Just three pieces done yesterday (the rock under the bridge) because setup took a lot longer than I expected. If I don't want to ruin my hands for knitting, I've really got to pace myself in cutting out pattern pieces. I need to set up the saw today, which is going to take time in and of itself.
I can go on a non-bear Zul'Aman run tonight in WoW, so I might ease off on the glass and do some daytime knitting since my evening knitting time has been co-opted. Plus I still have the finals of three-day eventing to watch, and I like watching the horsies jump. =)
Starting to eat meals out of the freezer, a) so I don't have to take time cooking, and 2) so there will be freezer space when fall cooking/Christmas pre-baking come around. For those of you who live in the part of TX that has HEB grocery stores, a recipe:
1 pkg Pre-Cooked HEB Brand Carnitas
1 jar (26-32ish oz) of that expensive, organic Tortilla Soup that they shelve by the cooking demo station
1 cup uncooked rice
1 cup water
Chuck all of it into a 9x13 pan, breaking pork into reasonable bite-size pieces. Bake until rice is done (30-45 mins). It was a tasty dinner, if not particularly healthy. Tonight we get to find out if the leftovers can be stuffed into flour tortillas along with tomatoes/lettuce/cheese for yummy tacos.
