(no subject)
I have been neglecting Live Journal, it seems. Sometimes I have so much to say and no one to say it to but lately I haven't felt like typing it down either. I suspect that now I am back in NY with more time at the computer and will do some proper updating.
For now a summary statement,
Christmas was nice, small, and the first day I was able to breath after finals. I got mostly books and movies from Greg but also two new purses. He didn't put a lot of effort into anything this year which hurt my feelings a bit, but I'm over it now. I would rather have him put thought into something and spend $10 then spend $100 on some movies off of my wishlist and buy a purse he saw me looking at in a store the day before Christmas. I mean, I love getting things from my Amazon list, but when it is your boyfriend you expect him to put a bit of thought into it, right? Not to sounds ungrateful because I'm not.
We then went to Key West for New Years. New Year's Eve was probably the only nice day I had in Florida, starting Jan 1st it was like deep freeze time. But the trip was nice, we took the Cape Air 8 seat Cessna - 45 minute flight and in there in time for lunch.
I also spent a weekend with my Dad but I was terribly sick and didn't want to go, so once I arrived in PA I spent 4 of the 5 days sitting on the couch reading. Then Greg was off this past week and we had a nice time relaxing and getting nothing done.
I did get to read a few fun books so that was nice. American Wife was really good (thanks Whit) and I also read The Virgin Suicides, and re-read some of the Wrinkle in Time books.
Now it is time to start reading Chem and Physics again. boo. Class begins tomorrow.
