(no subject)
On Saturday I caught up with Brad when I went to his brother Chris's 21st. Stoner was also there, as he is one of Chris's best friends. Ended up going into town with Brad and his cousins and a couple of other people. Was an all-round good night. Unfortunately he is going back to Adelaide tomorrow. He, Chris, their mum, Stoner and I watched Unleashed yesterday (which I've already seen, but a good movie so I was happy to watch it again) after I finished work. I won't see Brad now until the beginning of next year when he comes back to Darwin briefly before going back to South Africa. I'm sure we will also run into each other overseas next year though.
Had a staff screening of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night. I'm not sure whether it is actually darker than the original - Gene Wilder was pretty dark! - but I'll leave the analysis to a later date 'cause no-one else has actually seen it yet ;) Johnny Depp was awesome though, as always. The Oompa Loompas are pretty groovy too.
Anyone know where I can get a long blonde wig? I want to go to my work Christmas/Charity party as Britney.
