I was at work at the cinema and someone had just sold several of us pills (I can't remember who the other employees were). We were down the far end of the candybar that doesn't get used much, and it was darker than usual. I put my pill in one of the drawers under the candybar and went out the back for something. Kate and her friends were out the back standing around near the sinks, for some reason.
In the time that I was out the back the police had come in and raided the candybar. They had found the pills we had bought and arrested those who had bought them. Someone had told them that I was the owner of mine, so they arrested me. I didn't bother arguing. I remember being shocked that I was finally in a situation that I couldn't get out of. There were lots of us working for some reason, and we were all gathered around in this massive group down the far end of the candybar. The police began to lead me away and I said "can I just say goodbye to my sister" and nodded towards the door to the back. They said okay and opened the door and I looked in at her and caught her eye and she gave me this sad look. Then we kept walking.
Rather than taking you to the station themselves, they trust you to take yourself there. Phillip was going to drive me home to get some stuff, and then drive me to prison. The police gave me a gun, which felt like plastic but was real, to take with me (there was no explanation for this in the dream!). We went to my house where I packed clothes with great care - I knew I'd associate them with prison once I was out, so I tried to choose comfortable clothes, but things that weren't my favourites. The whole time I kept checking my phone and being sad that nobody had messaged me; noone even cared that I was going to prison. At one point I needed to get something out of Phil's car, and asked if I could have the keys to it. He looked at me suspiciously, like he thought I was just going to take off in his car or something. He said I could but I had to be really quick.
Then I came back and continued packing (it was quite hard really... I also remember deciding against taking nailpolish!) I must have slowly started to regain consciousness rather than waking up suddenly, as I remember thinking, while I was still packing for prison, "you it's just a dream, just open your eyes", and I did, and I was SO RELIEVED!
Anyway... I think certain people at work will find this interesting...
