We're always on this rollercoaster

I've come to realize that the only living thing that can (and will) love me unconditionally is my dog. Even though I was pissed earlier and kept him out of my room, the second I let him back in he's in my lap loving on me. As I type he's laying right next to me up against my leg.

Humans just don't have the capacity to forgive and forget like this. I know I don't. I hold grudges like crazy. But my dog loves me even when I'm not in a good mood. And I really need that right now...
