* We had the delicious pleasure of a weekend visit from an old friend of Björn's. There are people in this world who are just easy to be with - people who fit into your home as if they lived there with you - and he is one of those kinds of comfortable people. R: you are welcome back absolutely anytime and I promise next time not to serve you a big hunk of raw pork.
* Raw pork? Yes. Yay for the first grilling of the season, boo for getting the timing so off that the pork didn't get cooked as properly as it should have done.
* I am reading a series of books about a dragon named Temeraire. If you are looking for something to read I strongly encourage you to go look for the Temeraire series. I am even dreaming about flying around on the back of my very own best dragon friend.
* I love having a pair of scissors within reach. I keep a pair next to my spot on the sofa and one in each of the two drawers where I look for them in the kitchen, a couple of pair in the bathroom and two pair in my pen cup on my desk. I wonder what Freud would make of that?
