um...so my norton 'security system' is restricting my access to my hotmail. what's up w/ that??! anyone know how i can change the settings? esp. b/c i technically don't have a subscription to it anymore so i don't know why it keeps working! i just have my norton antivirus. *bastards

uninstall norton. None of my computers has anti-virus of any kind.

this morning i tried to uninstall the program and it won't let me do it unless i log in. problem is, i don't even have an account to log in b/c it was a trial version that expired like 2 months ago!!! so i can't even uninstall the bastard!!! :( :(

go to control panel, then add/remove software. See if it's listed there and uninstall it from there.

that's what i did. then i got this big text box that said i needed to provide a password in order for the uninstall process to continue. :(

yes, but it's also a good thing. Computer health freaks reformat at least once every 6 months.

funny you say that b/c my friend lives across the street from me and her husband is a computer geek of sorts...so maybe he can solve the problem w/out reformatting! i just thought of that...
