Animals on the loose!

*It is a quite day in Bridlewood. The sun is shining, the flowers blooming, and the birds are singing. Hmm, the birds are singing very loud it seems like. Not just birds though. Other animals sounds can be heard. That is because there is a massive amount of animals running through all of Bridlewood. In the middle of it all is little fluttershy.*

Considering how much Fluttershy had done for Genesis, it wasn't a stretch to say that Genesis had warm feelings for the pony. She was actually headed to show Fluttershy her new painting when she is almost mowed down by said animals.

"What on earth..."

Fluttershy sees Genesis and runs over. "Genesis, I hope the animals aren't bothering you. You see, I was about to give them some shots when... this happened."

[genny_rose]

Genesis got up, rubbing her sore flank. "These things happen Fluttershy (though why to me lately I have no idea). Do you want me to help round them up for you? I am at least a little bit athletic."

As in, lean and fast. That was about it.

[fluttermoe]

"Oh no, I couldn't ask you to do that. These animals are my responsibility."

[genny_rose]

"Oh, no problem at all!" Genesis said, tossing her hat in the bushes for a moment. Better not to have it on when she was doing something like this. "I am an earth pony, after all. I was built for this sort of thing!"

It also helped her parents lived out in Vanner, so there was always plenty of wide open spaces. She started by chasing a few squirrels down. For someone who preferred the solitude of art, she was quite spry.

Fluttershy smiled for a second, then looked away nervously. "A-Are you sure I am not causing an inconvenience for you?"

The squirrels spotted Genesis and bolted up a near by tree.

"Not at all! We're friends, aren't we? What kind of friend wouldn't help with something like this?"

Of course, now Genesis was crashing into the tree in order to get the squirrels down, but details, details.

[fluttermoe]

"O-Oh my," FLuttershy said as she ran up to Genesis. "Please, try to be more careful. We don't need them to fall and break a tail bone..."

I couldn't help referencing this...I'm a nerd.,

Genesis was thinking to point out her breaking her own neck was more consequence than the squirrels poor tailbones, but she let it go. Even she realized when it came to the things associated with their cutey mark, a pony was pretty blindsided. She herself was guilty of that.

Happily, she caught a few in her mouth and deposited them onto Fluttershy, then proceeded to chase a few foxes.

When all the animals are caught, she will most likely notice the damage to Genesis. Fluttershy gave the squirrels some treats and medicine, then followed after Genesis. "You got to surprise the foxes!"

Genesis looked up. "Oh, all right!" She looked defeated, waking away from the foxes, seemingly off to do something else, then made a quick turn and put on a burst of speed, finally cornering them, completely out of breath.

"Phew! This is hard!"

FLuttershy gave the foxes some medicine, then put them down. "Now go back to the house. We will speak about your behavior later." The foxes nodded and ran off. Fluttershy turned to Genesis.

"It is a little difficult, but well worth it. These animals need their medicine before it gets too cold."

"Right!" Genesis said, totally understanding now why Fluttershy was so low key when it came to being one of the mane 6. She was really quiet and shy, but when it came to actually taking care of her animals, she was totally dedicated.

That said, it still took ten minutes for her to finally get seven rabbits to take their medicine, and even then she was covered in dirt and scrapes from head to hoof.

Fluttershy now notices the scraps on Genesis. "Oh my! Genesis, please, you are getting hurt helping me. Let me help clean you up!"

Fluttershy flies over to Genesis, and starts to unwrap a bandage.

"Oh, don't worry about it-ow," Genesis said, allowing Fluttershy to look her over."It's like I always say: an artist must suffer for her art, you know? I was just glad I could help a freind out!"

[fluttermoe]

"Oh, but I can't help but worry about it," Fluttershy said as she started to wrap up on of the injured areas.
