So I have had the greatest day ever, you guys! :D
...Is what I'd like to say, but it was, in fact, kind of the opposite. Can't say it wasn't interesting, though, which I suppose is the optimistic way to look at it.
First, I managed to slice my thumb open on glass. Pro-tip for people dealing with college cafeterias: if you break a glass, please don't leave the shards in with the other glasses for others who aren't looking to stumble across. From first glance, it looked like an average glass, too. So now I have a nice gash on my thumb. It looks hideous under the band-aid. At least the bleeding has stopped though, I think. (It'd better have, since it's been nearly ten and a half hours. I haven't seen any more blood than had been there a few hours ago soaked through the band-aid, so.)
And then, guess what! I saw a mouse in our room! XDb; Just one, and it was a tiny little thing from the glance I got, but still. I've never had a mouse in my room before! (I'm calling him Mickey.) It was... actually kind of exciting, really, but regardless, it is a mouse, and mice kind of don't really belong. So housing has set up a pair of mouse traps in the room - they claim it's a humane one, so they shouldn't kill it, which would be preferable.
Though, apparently my mouse story was one-upped. One of the teachers at my old high school (the elementary school division's music teacher, if I remember right) apparently came home today to find that two mice had gotten into the cupboard, opened the honey, eaten most of the honey, and one of them had drowned in it. So I suppose I should be glad Mickey didn't do that.
At least I can say a good thing or two about the football game, though. It was great to see my dad, my uncle, and their friends, which, really, is the entire point of going to the games for me. (Even if Uncle B and their friend S can be a little... odd. They do it to tease me because they know they'll get a reaction. That's got to be the reason. And... they're good at getting a reaction from me. ^^;;) And this year, I can actually say that the music selections have been good so far. Not a single piece of uninspired rap in the bunch. Even if the opposing team's marching band needs to learn some manners. You do not play over the montage of graduates who have joined the NFL or when they play "Living on a Prayer". You just don't do that.
Aaaaah... I want the new episode of The Legend of the Legendary Heroes... It'll be out tomorrow, but I want to see it now... as I have been all week... Seriously, I haven't been this excited for an anime in a long, long time.
