"Inside our hearts, dear Placeholder will always be alive!"

I don't know what to make of the dream I had last night...

From what I remember of it, it was from first-person for a while, and I was in orchestra practice for one reason or another. Closer to the back of the first violins, though, which is odd, because usually I'm in the middle of the seconds. (And generally I prefer it that way, really - first violins have to go to far higher positions than I'm generally comfortable with a lot more often than seconds.) The concert master, or at least someone further up in the first violins, was, I'm pretty sure, this guy - I don't know his name, but then I tend to be horrible at learning them - who is in both my Screenwriting class and a member of the anime club. I don't think he's in the orchestra, but I'll go with it.

Some stuff happened, and then it turned out that someone - I think the conductor - was, of all things, a vampire. And he started biting all of the people in the orchestra, starting from the closest chairs and going outward. And then he eventually got to me, and I tried to run away, but he got me somehow.

...And then I remember it switched to third person and the girl he bit there was actually Asuka, who he ressurrected from a little bag of ash in some kind of machine or something and she looked like a deformed doll when that happened, but that's all I remember.

I don't know what to make of it because I just don't usually dream about vampires. Heck, I'll even go so far as to say I don't really like them all that much. If you want to include one in your story, I'll still read it (as long as there isn't something else that causes me not to), but I don't really like all of the themes of control and stuff that they have. Or blood. Blood is creepy, especially when it's outside the body.

Maybe it has something to do with how much I've been reading up on the Icecrown Citadel fights on WoW. I mean, there's a vampire boss in there with mechanics that are kind of similar to that. Maybe that decided to morph into something odd or something. And the orchestral setting could have something to do with Nodame Cantabile, the drama that the anime club has decided to show this semester after the official showing - it's about these students in a music school, and it's rather funny so far.

I don't understand that dream, though. I'm not sure if I want to, either.

Also, tangentially on topic, in terms of the ending of Icecrown Citadel... well, I spoiled it for myself because even if I do get to raid there eventually, it's guaranteed that if I tried to not spoil it, I would get spoiled by someone in Trade Chat or something. So yeah, I've seen the ending. And... yeah. In an attempt to avoid spoiling anything here... It's yet another reason for me to attempt to get Akiraka, my draenei shaman, to Northrend, so I can do certain quest chains again.

She's level 64 now (surpassing my previous goal), and still going strong - it's amazing, because she's my first alt that's gotten anywhere close. And I didn't think I'd like Enhancement all that much, it being a melee spec and all, but I really like it! I barely have any downtime for mana, I can insta-heal myself when I get five stacks of the one buff thing, and I get two ghost wolf pets for 45 seconds every 3 minutes if I click the button for them. And they are awesome ghost wolves! I need to give them nicknames, like my Shadowfiend on my priest is called Fluffy - they'll probably be Yuki and Nyuu, to go with the Cube theme, but I'm still deciding.

c*llege, world of warcraft, yu-gi-oh gx, random pointless stuff
