Yet another rant about Fujiwara Yusuke
It's still almost amusing, how I keep vasselating between different opinions of Fujiwara Yusuke. I mean, when he first showed up, I disliked him. Then, after episode 159, I liked him enough to develop an AU for him and bring him into Econtra with all of four existing episodes of canon backstory to go by (and I'm so glad I made him AU - some of those developments later on weren't really all that expected). Then, when he started actually appearing in the series again, I began to dislike him - this escalated after 174 (the ending of which, according to me, officially never happened - episodes 175+ only occurred due to a plot hole). But now that the series is over, and has been for a few months, I'm beginning to like him again. Hence why I turned him into an Umbreon and sent him over to Spacial Rend. (Which is quite fun so far.)
Of course, the problem is, neither version that I play is insane (in Fujiwara-breon's case, anymore at least). And yet, half of the useful canon images are either Honest cosplaying as him, or him insane (and the other half is flashbacks and a small scene in 179). And while I don't mind the Honest cosplaying him images (after all, he pulled it off quite well), it's nice, in my opinion, to be able to actually use images of him for icons. The insane ones won't cut it.
Now comes the bimonthly (well, monthly now that it's nearing the end) duel box scans from
pdutogepi. And because it's released part of season 4 now, there is lineart of Fujiwara Yusuke. And while about half of it is expressions that you would never see either of my Fujiwara Yusukes using (especially not AU - there's one in particular that looks creepily like Light!Saiou), there is one particular image that I have been squeeing because of for the past hour.

I colored it and now it's one of AU's icons. And I'm debating using it in my personal journal as well.
It is epic.
Meanwhile, I should be calling A., checking up on c*llege stuff, cleaning my room, working on Lost Heaven (because I want to get the next chapter out soon), reading Gakuen Alice to satisfy that Tsubasa muse that's decided to reside in my head for the last few days, working on a certain secret project of mine, working on that satire one-shot, reading Les Misérables, feeding the plot bunny for that fanfic over there involving Yusuke and the Cubes, writing up a resolution to my own small segment of the dressing room plot, or one of a number of other things. But... yeah.
