Tough Call

Okay, Dolls, I may be letting myself in for a flaming here, but I'd like to ask your opinions (and until I reply, they'll be screened).

I just watched "A Man Among Wolves" on National Geographic, and I was, of course, enthralled (especially with teaching the pups to howl, and with Tamasca, the big, black beta male dubbed "The Enforcer").
Now we get to the really sticky part.
I respect these animals. Beyond.

And yet, I wear black fox and coyote tails, as "talismans" if you will. That's as far as I'll go with my reasoning; it's intensely personal, and doesn't necessarily "fit" with today's morés. I will say that alot of it has to do with how numerous the animals are, and, of course, legalities.

Which brings me to this dilemma:
While browsing, I found this, and was struck with alot of mixed feelings. I could never say that I wouldn't consider having one in my home, rug-wise, simply because I do revere the Wolf, above other animals, and rather than acquiring something as a "trophy", it would more be as a reverence.

It's a sticky wicket no matter what side of the fence one is on, but I'l like to know your feelings on the subject (sans preaching, please; I'm not asking to be changed; I'm simply curious about other beliefs).
