Had a flat tire. Normally not a big deal, but this was the spare. So, the walk home begins. It wasn't far, about 15 minutes, but it was biting cold: 20ºF and snowing.
No sense bitching; had to get home, sans vehicle.
On the way there, Mother and I "conversed" in my head, and Lord Byron put in his two cents. I "argued" how one can even find a rainbow in a freaking snowstorm in BF Ohio.
Ask, and ye shall recieve; She said, "Look up, Daughter.":

Prophetic Ray

Inscription:
Be thou the rainbow to the storms of life,
The evening beam that smiles the clouds away,
And tints to-morrow with prophetic ray!
~George Gordon, Lord Byron
The Bride of Abydos

This is exactly as I saw it, no manipulation whatsoever other than the canvas to protect it. Remember when I mentioned being in the right place at the right time? This only cements that philosophy for me. Sometimes She puts us in the right place, even if we don't want to go.

When She speaks, Mare listens.
Enjoy.
