I just discovered Roy Orbison died when he was only 52. I hope I live longer than that.
The way I discovered this information was rather morbid....this site I found on the net where you put a name in and it tells you if that person is dead or alive, how old they were when they died and how they died.
In fact "As of January 22, 2008 this website lists 7747 famous (and semi-famous) people from various walks of life - entertainment, politics, sports, music, law, ... and others" What a job to make that database. I hoped Roy would still be alive. Perhaps its better this way. Imagine the comeback tour...in his hey day he looked like an elderly woman even then(In fact he actually was my grandma). Today he'd be like Darryl Hannah in highspirits when only a kiss from steve guttenburg could bring her back from the crypt. He'd be corpse darryl. But he'd be walking around. It just wouldn't be right.
