Ocean City Classic 2009
We just got back from Ocean City NJ yesterday. I haven't updated in a few weeks due to me being busy training for a BJJ/Grappling tournament there. Me and Nikki also made a small vacation day out of going down there as well.
First here are all my fight videos from the weekend. I lost 2 due to points, won one by triangle choke, and lost one due to triangle choke.
Anyways, we got down there, checked into the hotel, I had to run down to the boardwalk and register, run back to the hotel, bring all our bags up into the room, eat, then run back LOL
It was a pretty small tournament. There was about 35-40 competitors. What was pretty cool is it was being hosted on the music hall pier, which means we were right out on the beach, literally. It was a nice break from the usual sweaty gymnasiums LOL I did not so good in the Gi in my opinion, but I did pretty good at no gi. I brought home one silver medal.
After the tournament we went back to the hotel and then went out to eat at sack'o'subs. They make the BEST fucking spinach pizza I ever had in my life. Fresh spinach on nice thin Neapolitan pizza with fresh garlic and romano cheese, mmmmmmmmmm. We hit the boardwalk after that and checked out all the stores and the arcades. We went into the amusement parks there but alot of the rides are kiddie like. Actully, all in all, I thought Ocean city is quite kiddie like from previous visits. Maybe because the last time I was down there was when I was 15. When you an adult you view amusements different (ex. the lack of alcohol LOL). I took some pictures that I'll have to upload here as well.
All in all, I have to give Nikki all the credit for making the weekend happen for us. She suggested we go and helped me finance the trip. I love you honey!!!!! The only thing I wish is I had more fresh jersey shore pizza in the fridge about now....
