Oct 26, 2005 11:32

Whee another random mindmap update! No idea who/why, but it's shiny. A tad less shiny without the color; note that this is not a request for someone to get me a colored one. I also believe that the locations are still out-of-date for many people, but haven't looked too thoroughly ( Read more... )

Wow, that's funny. It says I'm in Florida. I don't know how long it's been since I said my loc was Florida, unarged. :P I wonder if that means I've been on someone's and just didn't realize it.

Looks really cool; after I saw yours, I just had to get one for myself. :)

I see me in the spr0t group!

Yeah, on the last version of this, people complained/commented that the location info was out-of-date... I saw on this one that someone was in CA instead of NY, so I figured that still applied.

Maybe! Check your friendslist.

Yay! More shinnnnnyyyyyyy.

Yup. There's a few bigger groups, and then some of the others are split up oddly. It needs more room and 3 dimensions or so. Check out TouchGraph if you want to play more.

Actually, I think I'll just wait until I get my own in the email. That will make it so much easier to see who's got one. :) (It's probably been at least a year since that was the loc., and there's no way I'm going through a year of 100+ people's posts) ;)

I have one, but I never bothered to figure out what exactly it was trying to show.

Who on your friendslist has friended eachother, which can indicate geography, hobbies, work, school, etc.

Yeah, I went and read their FAQ on it. I'm sure it's doing its thing correctly, but the results aren't especially meaningful to me. Most of the people that I'd consider important are near the periphery.

Which shows that I'm not cliquey in my relationships.. but I already knew that..

Well, it doesn't select for importance per se, just number and mutuality of connections.

You might find TouchGraph interesting instead.

Clique of DOOOM! (I should rerun the clique meme thingy, since I figure that connection is what's making the central + large)
