Why am I up so early?
Well, I'm not really up, up. I'm in my bed :) I wish I had someone to bring me breakfast in bed.
Well I have to make a long update.
Friday, my mom flew into NYC. She was so pleased with my new apartment, I've become quite the little decorator. I moved into the TriBeca near Karolina. It's an awesome neighborhood, very cool. Of course I'm more of a country girl, but I enjoy the city. So anyway, Friday night my mom & I had dinner in Little Italy at an excellent restaurant.
The next day we left around 8am to go up to my cottage in Connecticut. The weather was reasonably nice so we rented a boat, went sailing a bit. We had a picnic lunch on the beach. Then we did a little bit of shopping, and had dinner @ an outdoor cafe. It was really fun. I'm extremely close with my mom, we have such a great friendship. And she was always really suportive about me being a model at a young age.
Sunday we went to the beach again, did more shopping. I got some excellent new Jack Rogers sandals :) Then during the evening we came back to the city. Monday afternoon she left :(
Monday evening I went out for dinner with Karolina & her boyfriend Alessandro to this awesome Malaysian restaurant.
I'm waiting to here from my agent to see if I can get any work soon, but I'm enjoying the down time.
