So, LittleBigPlanet. THE game I've been waiting for all year..... even more than Spore, even more than Brawl.
Was supposed to come out today.
It didnt.
And WHY didnt it?
This is quoted from their website: "We're sure that most of you have heard by now that one of the background music tracks that was licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense this may have caused."
.....that's IT. That's the ENTIRE reason.
Note: it's not that the quotes were offensive, it's not that they went against that religion; it's simply that they were there AT ALL. Apparantly that book and music together are a no-no. I of course find this absolutely rediculous.
....also note that it was TWO expressions, in a LICENSED song.
They seriously coulda just patched the damn thing after release.
As such, it comes out in ANOTHER DAMN WEEK OF TORTURE.
I have NOT been in a good mood.
Now, with this being the case, I figured.... ok.... that's annoying, but at least there's another game coming out on that very day that I've also been waiting for, so I'll buy that instead, and get LBP next week.
No, it's not Fable. I've been waiting for "Master of Monster Lair", put out by Atlus. Part of the Dungeon Maker series. Likely nobody reading this has a damn clue what that is. But I have the first game on the PSP and love it, so I've been wanting this.
....THAT ISNT AVAILABLE TODAY EITHER.
WHY?!?!?
Because GameStop DIDNT ORDER ANY COPIES. Not the one near here anyway. They of course figure, oh, it's an Atlus game it'll have a limited audience we might not INSTANTLY SELL EVERY COPY AND MAKE A BAZILLION DOLLARS!!!!!111
I'll end up driving around to the GameCrazys tomorrow to find it.
So, gaming all this week so far is consisting entirely of Spore, Baroque (of course), and Megaman 9.
As Megaman 9 goes, new download content came out today; the 2 new difficulties and "special stage". Hero mode is a heck of alot harder indeed.... I love it.
Im also trying to get my Time Attack for Galaxy Man's stage down below 2 minutes.... I'm only TWO seconds above that right now; and entirely because he wont hold the hell still. Need to get him in 10 seconds or less to do this right; usually it takes about 12-14 to pop him. Driving me crazy.
Not much else to say besides that.
But yeah, Im in an unpleasant mood here lately.
That blasted game shoulda been OUT by now.....
....this kind of crap is why I dont like religion.
