Notes: I originally picked this as a prompt due to the profusion of canon offered themes with 'memory' but now I've figured, if I have to study, they do too.
Soubi sat on the bed with the history textbook propped up in his lap. “In what year did the industrial revolution begin in Great Britain?” The soon to be Middle-Schooler frowns and mumbles “eighteenth century...” under his breath. Soubi waits patiently, flipping through to the answers page. A second later, Ritsuka blurts out “1733!” like he was on a game show. The man checks briefly and nods. “And was prompted-” “The development of a cotton factory!” the boy yells before he can finish asking. Soubi leans back in surprise and wonders just how stressed a 12yr old should be about entrance exams.
Pretty worried Soubi, pretty worried. I remember mine for applying to a private school on scholarship. Although I didn't have a pretty Bishonen to help me study. Still don't.
