Notes: Linked fics again, two-part with prompt 054:Babble. Also, another sick fic, just for the mushies.
Soubi dabs the cool flannel over the overheated boys' forehead as he dozes fitfully. He'd come of out school that day complaining of a headache which had rapidly progressed into a fever by late afternoon. He was near delirious by the time he'd stopped fighting Soubi and let him strip him down to shorts and open the window, shortly after which he'd fallen asleep. He debates whether taking his temperature again would wake him, but as Ritsuka whimpers in his sleep and cuddles closer he decides -selfishly or not- to leave him be, gently stroking sweaty hair off his face.

Hands having fallen into a steady rhythm hours ago, he's surprised when Ritsuka sits up suddenly and looks at him, unfocused eyes glazed over and frantic. “Where did it go?” He grabs a bicep. “Where?”
Soubi tries to continue his soothing motions but is swatted away and pulled closer at the same time. “Where did what go, Ritsuka?” Dazed eyes once again droop, and he continues murmuring incoherent fever talk as he falls forward onto Soubi, who pulls him into his lap. “Put that back on the shelf.” Rubbing his back and hushing him, Soubi begins to hum.
I did originally pick babble as a prompt to put some Yukio in here. Then I decided, well, I didn't really want to XD In this drabble at any rate. Over halfway on my claim! 8 to go. Then on to some longer things I think.
