This Is Me Sharing Things

Aug 30, 2010 15:18

So, in the effort to attempt to convert my tumblr into a comic blog, I have eliminated reblogs and posting things I've found on the interwebs, which is sad because there's so much to love and share. Today I'm doing that here, which... if anyone at all likes it, I might make it a kind of weekly thing. Or if I like it. Either way.

Speaking of my silly comic blog, I am still brainstorming what to call it. I'm kind of stuck on the word "Adventures."

((not my comic))
And I kind of want to continue calling myself Copper so I don't have to change my URL. Also because I like being referred to as Copper. On a scale of 10 to dont-do-that how would you rate Copper's Adventures as the name of a webcomic?? I'm open to any suggestions!!

I've come up with a gigantic list of all of the adventures I'd like to make comics about. It's strange, but it's almost like compiling a memoir ...except you have to see everything.

I can't believe all this time I've been wasting imagination and letting things sit in my brain without sharing them. I always thought that it would be impossible for other people to see things the way I look at them, but it turns out I just wasn't giving them the chance to. Perspective and perception are amazing things. So are ~words:

I had to watch that a few times through to get the full impact. I was ravishingly surprised when my brain started guessing what would come next, without me even having to think about it.

Sometimes the world just fills me with so much awe and astonishment... It makes me feel so big. I stumbled across this quote the other day and I've probably read it back about fifty times:

~This is really what life is like.

Also, I feel like this post needs music. And I don't know about you, but this adorable, slightly drunken girl with an accent covering 90s radio rock with piano accompaniment is exactly what I know ~I need.

In light of all that, this is still how I feel about not having a job:

sharing things
