Someone was casually throwing bits of popcorn at Z's head, seeing how many he could lodge in her hair.

Hey, it was... likely to wake her up eventually? Maybe?

Ghost, shaking with repressed laughter, was letting him, because he was clearly a terrible boyfriend. Z occasionally reached up to bat at whatever was irritating her, but slept on.

So the answer to the question 'how many popcorn pieces can be lodged in Z's hair' would seem to be 'a lot.' Oh, dear.

At least it was just regular popcorn (buttery, though, of course) and not caramel? That would be a level of cruelty Bridge just wasn't willing to sink to.

He was, however, going to aim this particular piece of popcorn right at her nose.

That woke her up. "Huh, what?" she said, straightening up and rubbing at her nose.

...why were people laughing at her?

Z looked betrayed at him. "Now you've jinxed it." He would totally do that next week. Just wait and see.

"A Power Ranger should always be prepared," Bridge recited, tossing another popcorn kernel at her.

Okay, technically that motto was probably copyrighted by the Boy Scouts or something, but it still applied.

Sky was nodding sagely, so it probably went both ways. Z plucked a popcorn kernel out of her hair and threw it at him, rolling her eyes when it bounced off a shield, and then winged another one at Bridge.

Haha, he hadn't realized he was giving her ammo, had he?
