"Yeah, Sky. I mean... that's just disappointing," Ghost shakes his head, taking off his jacket and tossing it over the back of the couch.
"That's a little better," Bridge admits from his beanbag chair. "But still missing something. Or rather there's too much something." Setting down his Private Perfect comic, he takes off his own jacket, quickly followed by his t-shirt. "Everyone," he says, "well, everyone except Z who's kind of already acquainted with this phenomena- I would like to introduce you to a little something called Shirtless Friday."
It really is a whole unfair double standard... thing... and Bridge frowns slightly as the thought distracts him for a moment. But just for a moment, because soon enough he's working on getting Ghost to join them.
"Come ooooon, dude," he wheedles. The Red Ranger's resistance is *clearly* waning in the face of such persistence.
"Come on, you two," Ghost says, sounding every inch the responsible leader trying to keep his teammates in line. "Steam production could be his secondary power or something. He's probably sensitive about it, so maybe we should just leave him alone."
Bridge tries- and fails- at repressing a snicker.
"Is *anyone* capable of being serious around here?" grumps Sky.
"Nope!" Syd announces cheerfully. And apparently Sky's disapproval is all the encouragement she needs to cast off her t-shirt as well. "Z and Bridge are right. This is totally better."
"It's kind of warm in here, don't you think?" Z said. "What with spring coming and all the heat Sky's righteous annoyance is throwing off. This is much better than wool."
"Are they wool?" Ghost asked. "I thought we were higher tech than that."
"They're itchy and that's all I care about," Z told him dismissively.
"Shhhhh," Z told him. "We're not thinking about that right now. I mean, nobody has patrol in like the next hour, right?" People shook their heads. "So, if I can quote our uptight friend here, we're golden!"
"Right, but-" he really doesn't think Gruumm cares about Shirtless Friday.
Actually, he isn't even sure if Gruumm wears shirts in the first place. It's not like they get up close and personal or anything, what with how he's got Mora's monsters to do his dirty work.
"Uh, yeah?" Sky said, clearly confused.
"Uh, no?" Z responded. "It's Friday, come on! You can do better than that!"

"You cannot be serious," Syd said.
"Oh, but we are," Z assured her. "It's a long and honored tradition."
She did stop with her bra still on, though. No need to get arrested for violating public exposure laws while in police headquarters.

Ghost just laughed. "That two out of four of you don't know about?" Then he shrugged and reached for the hem of his t-shirt. "Sure, why not?"
Sky looked kind of like the top of his head was about to pop off.

"Hey guys?" Syd tilts her head, looking at Sky thoughtfully. "Is it just me or can you practically *see* the steam coming out from his ears?"

"Itchy and so not our problem anymore," he says instead. "Well, at least until we actually have to go back to work."

"Never mind," he says instead.
