Dinner had been nice- Greek food, obviously, at a little place in Thira- and now Bridge and Xander were taking advantage of the locale to do something that departed just a little from their usual method of celebrating: a boat tour.

"See, told you this was a good idea," Bridge says. Not that Xander had ever said it *wasn't*.

"You're so right. Next time I'll totally listen and we'll skip the tapdancing knife-fight."

"...Knife-fight?" Bridge gives Xander an odd look.

[needsaparrot]

"Over whose anniversary plans we go with."

[bridge_carson]

Bridge blinks. "Well, there was that thing with the handcuffs the other night but that really wasn't so much of a *fight* as, um... and there definitely were no knives involved and, actually, not even a lot of talking, as far as I recall."

[needsaparrot]

"We don't have to skip that one."

[bridge_carson]

"I don't know," Bridge muses. "I wouldn't want you to get *bored* with it or anything."

[needsaparrot]

"Well, we can always change it up. Use duct tape instead of handcuffs."

[bridge_carson]

"There's stickiness issues," Bridge points out.

[needsaparrot]

"With the handcuffs? Not if you wash 'em."

[bridge_carson]

"I meant the tape, actually," Bridge says.

[needsaparrot]

"You probably shouldn't wash that," Xander agrees.

[bridge_carson]

"I-" Bridge stops and sighs. "You're doing it again," he realises.

"Do I ever stop doing it?"

[bridge_carson]

"Well. No," Bridge admits.

[needsaparrot]

"Sometimes I slow down?" Xander offers. "Like, when I'm eating. Or sleeping."

[bridge_carson]

"Sure, *sometimes*," Bridge allows. There might be a hint of a smile in the corner of his lip, there, though.
