I like his speech. It was very moving and motivational. We talked about the upcoming speech this morning in my English class. My teacher asked us if we all thought that it was appropriate for the President to speak to the kids. One girl said it wasn't, I just kind of looked at her. Her reasoning? "It takes away from School time and who knows what he's going to say to them?" I raised my hand and said "Why are we so paranoid? Our last President addressed students. How is it any different than him going from school to school talking to kids? Why are people so afraid of what he's going to say?" My teacher said "good question." but left it at that. The girl who had answered glared at me the entire class. I didn't have time to get into it with her, but I sooo wanted to. I think you are right. I think those who have such an issue with what our President is doing have an issue with his race. It is really really sad.

I don't see why anyone would be upset about the speech at all. I just read it & I would like to say to the Americans who flipped about what our President had to say: You're and idiot. P.S. My name is Thomas Stinnett & I approve this message :) (thanks for sharing!)
