Five Happy Things
1. My fabulous new haircut that cost me zero dollars (well aside from the tip). Mom got a gift card for the salon we frequent at Christmas. Since the amount received was enough for 3 cuts she asked me if I wanted to go get my hair done when she got hers done. Thanks mom!
2. Making sure a lazy nurse gets hers. I take a certain kind of pleasure in watching someone squirm when I know I had a hand in their discomfort and it's merited.
3. Getting my car detailed. A clean car is a good thing.
4. A long conversation with my cousin Meagan that included a lot of nostalgia and loads of laughs. I miss her!
5. Finding out my friend Carol had her twins and that they're both in good health. It makes my heart smile to know she finally gets to experience motherhood.
