I had sent a package to a friend of mine early December thinking that it would definately get there in time for Christmas. In that package was a christmas card, a picture, & a small bag.
She called me just yesterday, January 18th, to say thanks for the stuff she JUST received. Not only that, she described the package liked it was re-taped & re-packaged. The card in it was also missing. What the hell happened? Can I complain about this? I no longer have the reciept or any tye of proof.
It's illegal to open another's mail.. but I wonder if the USPS did it or if it was sent to the wrong person who opened & re-shipped it.
And now I'm paranoid because I ship things from time to time for ebay auctions & things like that cannot happen. So if it does, that is on me.
Anything on the news about this kinda stuff? Maybe it was a security thing.. either way I'm not happy about it.
