Picked up my Dress!
I went to Abbey Bridal today for my first dress fitting. I ended up not having the fitting and taking my dress home instead. I'm going to get my own dress-maker to do the alterations (the same one my bridesmaids are having). The girls at Abbey Bridal told me I wouldn't get my dress until around a week before the wedding. I still need to get sleeves made for the dress (the ones you take off) and I don't want to be getting that done in the last week. I like knowing I have my dress now and i'm the one in control of the time frame of getting things done! Also my dress-maker is cheaper and closer to my home.
Yay my dress is at my parents house right now. I loveeeee it. It was SO big on me when I put it on. Last time it was too tight. It's amazing what an hour a day of DDR (dance dance revolution) and eating like a pig for a month can do to your body. I have dropped a whole dress size! So the dress-maker will need to take the whole dress in now (unless I put on weight again, which I won't).
