Today I either inspired or completely creeped out 24 girl scouts. Pretty good for a day's work. One girl hugged me afterward and professed "I love mutations." A child after my own heart.
Actually, it was the first group of girl scouts who were amazing. They were so inquisitive and so interested. They even noticed that freeze-drying leaches color from specimens. The second group was mostly "ewww!" the whole time and didn't really seem to care about flight adaptations or genetic abnormalities at all.

My aunt just emailed me wanting to know if I want my uncle's food processor. Oh excuse me, $400 food processor.
The autopsy report is back--I guess he died from falling down, not being able to get up, and suffocating. I heard this secondhand and the original source isn't exactly very accurate, so who knows? But that doesn't sound like a good way to go. I hope he was knocked unconscious at least.

Also I learned how to move a giraffe today.
