road trip on Saturday to visit Mom, 8 hours of driving in heavy wind. was absolutely beat when I got home. and with gas, the trips may just decrease even more. at least we talk on the phone every night, even though there's never much going on.
mowed the lawn on Sunday, waiting for the rain. then there was the wind, no trees fell down! and more rain. I'm tired of it. at least the worst of the wind came before the rain, not during, or my leaky windows would have just given up.
worked on getting 2 little quilties ready for finishing (after one has been sitting way too long) and knit on the sock. not much tv-watching lately, the sock is not progressing very quickly.
