sunshine & spinning

Dec 30, 2007 10:54

the sun is shining this weekend. lovely on the snow.
shoveled yesterday, so the driveway is mostly cleaned off.
makes it much easier to charge the pickup up the slight slope, not fun to slide around in my own driveway.
errands yesterday, making up for errand time lost to the weather.
now it's cold. get over it!

Babe the wheel and I have been bonding.

she likes to move at warp speed. or I have a lead foot. hmmmmm.
right now we're working on Spunky Eclectic's December fiber club 'Party Dress.' lime, turquoise , and rosy red. bright!

much to accomplish this weekend. ditch the old computer, hard to let go of the desktop clunker as it still works very well. but I can use the space. the monitor is heeeuuuuuge.

make cookies. :-) yum. that's all I need is more junk to eat. but I have not had one frosted Christmas cookie this holiday season. wrong. all wrong.

work on some tiny nine-patch quilt blocks, and set a mini quilt together.

finish reading Crazy Aunt Purl.

and I have 3 more days to do it in, plus much surfing and playing of solitare, and running errands, and all that stuff.

spinning, books, fabric, weather, things-to-do
