Let's call it my summer of becoming more well-rounded. Last summer I briefly (i.e. flipping through a book) toyed with the idea of reading the entire Very Short Introduction series, but I didn't. However, in my desire to read and negotiate more nonfiction is there a better place to start? (Yes, that's rhetorical!)
