Well meaning men, causing more problems than they solve
In Indonesia: Indonesian city mayor wants to pass law prohibiting women from wearing pants and "straddling" motorbikes or bicycles, requiring women to instead ride two-wheel vehicles "sidesaddle.”

Um, thanks, but most of us are actually pretty damn sturdy. Wake up and smell the coffee. Those women you’re trying to protect are probably trying to get to work to do some form of back breaking labor. Plus, it’s more dangerous to ride sidesaddle on a motorbike, because it’s harder for the driver to properly balance the weight.
