Baby Bones
I watched Bones for the first time in ages tonight. For a while there I was watching in on re-runs every night. For various scheduling reasons, I’ve never really been good about watching it on first run.
Gah. I’d forgotten why I used to avoid eating and watching Bones at the same time. *ick*
[Spoilers Ahoy] I did not enjoy watching Booth freak out over and over again during this episode. For someone with as much life experience as he has, it’s completely out of character for him. And very unsexy. I like my men to be competent.
O.M.G. You have got to be kidding me! Bones is blindly stupid sometimes, but waddling into the middle of a prison riot when you’re nine months preggo? *facepalm* And then the rioting prisoners politely dive to the floor when the guards show up and tell them to get down? Not bloody likely. Not if it was a real riot.
And unlike most first time births, Bones can’t wait a half an hour to go back to the hospital they looked at to have her baby? Can’t drive ten miles down the road to the local hospital? Aren’t first babies notorious for taking their sweet time? I was 48 hours in arriving. *eyeroll*
The moment I heard Bones snarking the story of Jesus’s birth as a mythology I knew she’d give birth at an Inn with no room. I just didn’t expect they’d end up in the freaking stable. How hard is it to call an ambulance, so you can give birth with a couple of EMTs instead of having only your FBI boyfriend to help? Their writers should be fired for making such a hash out of what should have been a "must see" episode.
Yeah, there may be a reason why I quit watching Bones…
Good god, how much did Burger King pay to get David Beckham to be in their commercial? You have to admit though, he IS purdy to look at.
