Casual Racism
Casual racism is when a white male Olympian laughs during the National Anthem and people think it’s charming.
But when a black female Olympian, who has just turned in a disappointing finish, doesn’t put her hand over her heart during the National Anthem, she’s crucified for it on social media.

One of my friends over on Facebook said that she seems to be turning her noise up at her teammates success.
Or, you know, she could just be a highly competitive athlete who is disappointed in herself for not performing better.
