I somehow accidentally hit the "Switch to new version" icon again. *sighs* I finally found the setting (Accounts > Display) that let me get rid of the "Want to add widgets?" thing that takes up an entire third of the friends page so that I can actually read my friends page again.

So aggravating that they've made the assumption that of course I wouldn't want to read my friends list using the full width of the screen. Why would anyone want to do that?
