Current weather is 41, and it's damn chilly in Frogholm right now because I turned the heat down (not off, but down) because it's supposed to be Spring already. But it won't be cold for long, it's supposed to get up to 71 today ( Read more... )

Took the bike today. Half of what I wore in will be in the saddlebags on the way home. ;-)

I have the opposite problem- when i am at work the temp swings the other way and i have to be able to plan to put clothes ON!

I know! chilly this morning. I have the heat turned back up and a space heater to sit in front of til it warms up. and yes, 70 later!

With all the activities Gremlin has been doing with JROTC, Young Marines and Crew, I think I have gear for all four seasons, plus rain gear for hot and cold weather, wind breakers and wool cloaks in my truck.

40 degrees and rainy on the Potomac at 0 dark thirty, then a warm and sunny 72 at 1 pm followed by cool 55 degrees in late afternoon.

Early morning warm color guard practice in the shadow of the Washington Monument followed by a wickedly brisk breeze blowing spray off of the reflection pool at the WWII Memorial on VE Day had me glad that I had a windbreak/rain coat in the truck.
