I swear, about the only time I ever see my neighbors is when we all congregate outside to shovel out our cars for the plow guy. Time for snow shoveling gossip!
Neighbor across the hall has been renovating. I thought so, with all the hammering and sawing that’s been going on across the hall. I teased him that I'd just assumed he set up a blacksmiths shop in his bathroom. He said, "Don't give me ideas!"
Remember when I had the flu last winter and they threatened to come tow my car? I looked, and apparently I didn’t post about it here. (Probably too sick!) [I did mention it on Facebook though]
You may (or may not) remember that I was horribly sicklast winter. Out of work for almost a week with the flu, and then dragging my tail for another couple of weeks as I tried (in vain) to recover.
Well, it turns out it’s a good thing I did go out and shovel out the car that day. Apparently the big gossip at the annual condo meeting was that someone in Building A was in the hospital (and thus unable to move her car). They not only had it towed for her, which costs money to get your car back, but also slapped a fine on her for not moving it for the plow guy. When she was in the hospital. So yeah, even though it meant I was sick for almost a month, probably worth it that I went and shoveled out the car and moved it when I had a 101 fever last January.
