So I got up yesterday and I walked for the first time in ages. Then I did some yoga (OMG, so very stiff!). And I changed all my calendars and hung up my new ones. And changed the light bulb because the kitchen one burnt out and it was dark in there. I ran a load of laundry. And did some dishes and tidying up. And I did some “new year” planning, things I want to accomplish in 2016. Read probably too much Facebook, but it was alumni stuff, which I almost never do.
And I did a decent chunk of writing. I’ve got a lot of bits and pieces that I’m going to try to get better organized this weekend. I’ve had a lot of ideas lately, I need to go in and see which ones I really want to work on, which ones are half-written and need me to finish them, that sort of thing. There’s research to be organized too, because sometimes I’ve done the research, but not gotten around to the writing.
All in all, not too bad a start to my year.
