The first Star Wars movie came out 38 years ago, presumably Han and Chewie have been together longer than that, so probably forty years? How is this the first time that Han ever shot Chewbacca’s bowcaster?!? Surely the big furball has gone down and Han has picked up his weapon before? Not once in forty years?

Also, Han calls Kylo Ren by his birth name. And it’s Ben.
Think about that for just a minute.
Han and Leia named their son after Ben Kenobi.
