So I recently discovered the Humans of New York web site with its delightful snapshots of everyday New Yorkers going about their business being their awesome selves. While I was sick last weekend I had the time to give it a good surf. Some of my favorite pictures were the ones where the photographer asked, “If you could give one piece of advice to a large group of people, what would it be?”

There was some advice that you might expect:

Stay Curious

Take your education as far as you can

Be nice and like people

Come to places like this

But of course my favorite answers were the ones you don’t expect.
