A RANT...Don't ask me where this came from...
I'm sickened by the fools who sue for billions because they are stupid enough to drink steaming, HOT coffee and all the others and their silly reasons just because they want money and they want it easily!
I can complain about parenting these days and how it effects my profession until I am blue in the face. Basically it boils down to this. They aren't doing their jobs, kids are running too many houses or they are not getting the important things they need to be balanced individuals. The world is spilling with people who want everything for nothing. They want results from doing absolutely nothing. Hell, we raise them young here in our public school. A speaker encouraged us in our district to not give homework "They aren't going to do it anyway." If they can get around homework, they can get around it all until the future is ruined with lazy, ignorant people who want to live off of any strings they can pull. We start in school by making so many acceptions that we do. Not that I don't do it myself, I was trained by US teachers. Sure, let's accept mediocre, let's spoon feed every child that comes through the door. Isn't that exactly what the real world is like? Sorry for the sarcasm. I'm just so frustrated and my profession isn't going to be any easier when we have to feed them, take them home with us after school because they aren't loved enough. Please Mr. President, come up with another plan to make our kids learn by holding the teachers accountable. More sarcasm I'm not sorry about. Until we can open their heads wide open and pour it in we have other places we need to look. Not all of the educational failure is the fault of the teacher.
